We hold your email address so we can email you. That is the whole of it.
No advertising trackers, no session recording, no cookie wall, and nothing shared with sponsors or register applicants at any time.

The short version
If you subscribe, we hold your email address so we can email you. That is the whole of it. We do not sell it, rent it, share it or use it to build a profile of you.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you give it to us through the subscribe form or the contact form, together with the subject you selected and the date.
- Standard server records, which are generated by the hosting infrastructure when any website is requested. We do not use them to identify individuals.
We do not run advertising trackers, cross site trackers, session recording, heat mapping, fingerprinting or a cookie wall. There is no advertising on this site to track for.
What we do with it
We send you the briefing, or we reply to you. Nothing else. There is no profiling, no scoring, no automated decision making and no enrichment from third party data.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider and our email delivery provider, as processors, because the email has to be stored and sent by something. They act on our instructions and may not use the data for their own purposes. We share nothing with sponsors, with register applicants or with anyone else, and no sponsor or register applicant receives any subscriber data at any time under any circumstances.
How long
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, at which point we delete it. Unsubscribing is a single click at the bottom of every email and takes effect immediately.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our use of it. Ask through contact and we will do it. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
This site is written for adults, including adults responsible for children. We do not knowingly collect data from children and the newsletter is not directed at them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will change this page and date it. Last reviewed 7 August 2026.
